03-04 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana with a 4.3L Coolant Leak from the Lower Radiator Hose - kw brake bracket contact leak LU3 hose

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

Coolant Leak From The Lower Radiator Hose. The lower radiator hose on the 4.3L engine may be chaffing against the Right front brake hose retaining clip.

1. Replace the lower radiator hose as needed.
2. It will be necessary to reposition the Right front brake hose retaining clip. The brake hose retaining clip should be rotated 90 degrees, so the flat part of the clip is at the top.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
