- Measure the thickness of each 4-5-6 clutch steel plate (1) at dimension A.
- Measure the cone of each 4-5-6 clutch steel plate (1) at dimension A.
Important:
| • | Measure as described below at a minimum of 3 locations. |
| • | Replace any 4-5-6 clutch steel plate that does not meet specifications. |

The 4-5-6 clutch steel plate minimum thickness is 2.135 mm (0.0841 in).
Important: Check the steel plates for coning on a level surface.
