Condition

Some customers may comment that the sound deadener is peeling off in the wheel well area.

Correction

Clean and reapply coating.

  1. Use a Power wash to remove all of the sound deadener from the wheel wells. If necessary, use a plastic scraper to aid in removing the material without breaking though the paint.
  2. Use *3M™ Scotch-Brite imperial Paint Prep Scuff Pad Maroon, P/N 07777, to scuff the paint surface.
  3. The surface must be clean and dry.
  4. Apply *3M™ No Cleanup Water-Based Undercoating Black, P/N 08804, to the area.
