Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
Install the fuel control solenoid hose and clamp (3) from the fuel solenoid.
Tighten
• | Tighten the bracket to A/C bolt to 28 N·m (21 lb in). |
• | Tighten the bracket to mixer cover bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in). |
Tighten
Tighten the retaining clamp from the MAF sensor elbow (7) at the fuel
mixer housing (6) to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the retaining clamp from the MAF sensor elbow (4) at the air
cleaner housing (1) to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the retaining clamp from the MAF sensor elbow (5) at the resonator
(4) to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
