Makes 🢒 GMC_Truck 🢒 2006 🢒 Savana - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 6.6L 🢒 Fuel Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the glow plug module and bracket. Refer to Glow Plug Control Module Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1739243 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel pressure relief valve from the left fuel rail.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1739243 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel pressure relief valve to the left fuel rail.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel pressure relief valve to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  2. Install the glow plug module and bracket. Refer to Glow Plug Control Module Replacement.
  3. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming.
  4. Start the engine.

    5. If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

  5. Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
