Removal Procedure
- Use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 3M P/N 08987 or the equivalent in order to remove the side front door check strap seal form the door.
- Clean the side rear door of all of the old adhesive.
Installation Procedure
- If you are reusing the check strap seal, apply weatherstrip adhesive to the check strap seal. Use GM Weatherstrip Adhesive GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479), or the equivalent.
- Install the side rear door check strap seal to the door.
