The idler arm on the 2006 Full-Size Van requires lubrication at the recommended intervals specified in the Owner's Manual.

However, on vehicles equipped with the diesel engine, access to the grease fitting is restricted due to interference from the fan shroud.

To ensure proper lubrication, a 90° grease gun adapter is required. These 90° grease gun adapters can be obtained from the following manufacturers listed below.

Dealers may also choose to replace the idler arm grease fitting with a 90° style fitting, GM P/N 09411019.
