Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear corner garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement.
  2. Remove the driver side body side rear trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side.
  3. Remove the passenger side rear corner trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
  4. Remove the rear floor trim plate. Refer to Rear Floor Trim Plate Replacement.
  5. Remove the rear door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.

  6. Object Number: 333961  Size: SH
  7. Pull the rear door opening weatherstrip from the door opening pinch-weld flange. Use 3M Release Agent or the equivalent at the bottom ends of the rear door opening weatherstrip if needed.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 334065  Size: SH
  1. Apply weatherstrip adhesive into the channel on the rear door opening weatherstrip. Use GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or the equivalent.

  2. Object Number: 333961  Size: SH
  3. Start at the corners and align the rear door opening weatherstrip to the door opening pinch-weld flange.
  4. Align the channel on the rear door opening weatherstrip with the pinch-weld flange.
  5. Important: When installing the rear door opening weatherstrip, ensure that the corners have not pulled away from the body.

  6. Press the weatherstrip into place. If you are reinstalling the original weatherstrip, use GM weatherstrip adhesive GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) at the bottom ends of the rear door opening weatherstrip in order to retain the weatherstrip to the body.

  7. Object Number: 334065  Size: SH
  8. Install the retainers in the ends of the rear door opening weatherstrip into the holes in the floor panel.
  9. Install the rear door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
  10. Install the rear floor trim plate. Refer to Rear Floor Trim Plate Replacement.
  11. Install the passenger side rear corner trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
  12. Install the driver side body side rear trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  13. Install the rear corner garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement.
