The inclination sensor detects changes in the parked angle of the vehicle. If a change greater than 0.3° for a 7 second period is detected, the vehicles content theft alarm is sounded. The sensor recalibrates itself each time the vehicle is parked, which allows it to account for parking on steep grades without unintentional activation.
The intrusion sensor is a dealer installed accessory. Not all vehicles are equipped with an intrusion sensor.

Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) Description and Operation
⇒ | If B+ is not present, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If all circuits test normal, replace the BCM. |
⇒ | If greater than 1 ohm, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or open/high resistance. |
