Question the customer of details of how vehicle was being used when concern occurs such as, towing or unhooking from a heavy load and if Tow/Haul is being used during concern.
Inspect transmission Input, Turbine and Output speed signals for being erratic or dropping out. An erratic transmission input signal may cause TCC and ABS events that could affect shift quality. Also check Engine Coolant Temperature (ETC) and Throttle Position Calculation (TPC) for unusual or erratic readings.
