Rear Side Door Hinge Lower Bolt

Tip
After installation of the replacement upper hinge, from the underside of the hinge, remove the temporary keeper pivot bolt and replace with longer permanent bolt.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the body hinge pillar trim. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .

Rear Side Door Upper Hinge to Body Bolt

Tip
One bolt is located behind the body hinge pillar trim.

Rear Side Door Lower Hinge to Body Bolt

Tip
One bolt is located behind the body hinge pillar trim.

Rear Side Door Upper Hinge to Body Bolt (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
2. Tape the edges of the door and body.
3. Support the door before removing hinge bolts from step 3 and 4.

Tighten
26 N·m (19 lb ft)

Rear Side Door Lower Hinge to Body Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tip
Remove the door from the vehicle then remove the door side hinge bolts.

Tighten
26 N·m (19 lb ft)
