SES MIL DTCs P0454 And/Or P0452 - keywords evap fuel pressure sensor solenoid tank

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that they have a SES light on with DTCs P0454 (Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Intermittent) or DTC P0452 (Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low) set. Condition may be hard to duplicate and may be mis-diagnosed as a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor.

Before replacing the sensor, check to see if sensor connection is fully seated as P0454 may indicate no/low voltage output signal. Fully seat the connector.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
