Exhaust Seal Replacement 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L

1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
2. Remove and discard the appropriate exhaust seal (1 or 2). (1500 series shown, 2500 series similar).

1. Install the NEW appropriate exhaust seal (1 or 2). (1500 series shown, 2500 series similar).
2. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .

Exhaust Seal Replacement 6.0L - Cab/Chassis

1. Remove the left catalytic converter, if required. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe, if required. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement.
3. Remove and discard the appropriate exhaust seal (1) or gasket (2).

1. Install the NEW appropriate exhaust seal (1) or gasket (2).
2. Install the exhaust manifold pipe, if required. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement.
3. Install the left catalytic converter, if required. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side.
