Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 772343 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (3).

    3. Object Number: 761484 Size: SH
  3. Remove the backup lamp switch.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 761484 Size: SH

    Note: The backup lamp switch has pre-applied thread sealant on the threads.

  1. Install the backup lamp switch.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the switch to 37 N·m (27 lb ft).

  2. Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (3).
  3. Lower the vehicle.
