This is a fault detection of the Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Modules' (PIM) internal Motor Control Module (MCM). This fault is handled inside the PIM and no external circuits are involved. The MCMs are located within the PIM and are not serviced separately.
• | The control module runs the program to detect an internal fault when the key is ON. |
• | Ignition voltage is 8-18 volts. |
The control module has detected an internal malfunction.
• | DTCs P0A1B and P0A1C are Type A DTCs. |
• | The PIM commands the battery energy control module (BECM) to open the high voltage contactor relays. |
DTCs P0A1B and P0A1C are Type A DTCs.
