Preliminary Procedures Disable roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling. Remove center pillar upper garnish molding assembly. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
1	Assist Handle Screw (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 1.2 N·m (10 lb in)
2	Assist Handle Assembly Tip Push up to disengage the intergral hooks.

Remove center pillar upper garnish molding assembly. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.

Assist Handle Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.2 N·m (10 lb in)

Assist Handle Assembly

Tip
Push up to disengage the intergral hooks.
