Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
2. Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement .
3. Remove the front fender rear upper brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement .
4. Remove the auxiliary battery tray. Refer to Auxiliary Battery Tray Replacement
5. Remove the left hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
6. Remove the left hood link. Refer to Hood Link Replacement .
7. Remove the underhood electrical center/junction block. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement .
8. Remove the left wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side .

Left Fender Mounting Bolt (Qty: 6)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

Apply threadlock compound to the bolts.

Tighten
30 N·m (22 lb ft)

Left Fender Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
