Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front differential assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .

Front Differential Carrier Mounting Bracket Bolt (Qty: 4)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
100 N·m (74 lb ft)

Front Differential Carrier Bracket Replacement 25, 35 Series

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
  3. For the 6.0L engine, remove the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 365933 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts and the washers from the bracket.
  5. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 365933 Size: SH
  1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 N·m (67 lb ft).

  3. For the 6.0L engine, install the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .
  4. Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
