Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the park brake shoe. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement.
4. Disconnect the park brake cable from the actuator lever.

Procedure

1. Rotate the park brake adjuster screw until the adjuster is fully retracted.
2. Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling.
3. Adjust the park brake. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment.
