This dealer VME pertains to all-new 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra full-size pick-ups and concerns front headlamp replacement. During our parts reviews of front headlamps we have noticed several instances where it appears that these headlamps may have been damaged during the replacement process. It should be noted on these new trucks there is a hidden headlamp bolt behind the wheelhouse liner. Please refer to SI document number 1837372 for complete headlamp replacement procedures.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
