The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
A condition exists where the PTO Remote Start Functionality is Inoperative on the above vehicles due to a calibration issue
The following Body Control Module (BCM) calibration part numbers have been released to correct this issue. Use the chart below to determine which calibration is needed and then contact Techline at 1-800-828-6860 to obtain the calibration.

PTO Remote Engine Starting is available on all PTO equipped vehicles via dedicated wire in the upfitter connector and does not require the KEY FOB based REMOTE START feature (AP3). In addition to reprogramming the BCM, PTO Remote Starting must also be enabled via the Tech 2.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
