The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
There have been a number of inquiries regarding the addition of a Power Take Off (PTO) unit. Packaging problems have been found when attempting to install a 270 Series Chelsea unit, due to the structure of the exhaust system and the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
Recommendation/Instructions:
Absolutely no modification to the LMM exhaust system should be made or attempted. Series 250 Chelsea PTO, (right sided) model is currently the only verified compatible configuration. Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
