The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Fluid leaking from the front area of the Allison automatic transmission.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Allison Transmission is conducting an engineering investigation. If your dealership has a vehicle that exhibits the symptom listed, please contact (1) John Janssen (317-242-4039) (2) or Dale Buchko (317-242-4040) at Allison Engineering. If you have not been contacted back by Allison within 24 hours proceed with normal SI diagnostics and repairs.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
