Complete the current SI diagnostics for any trouble code or symptom found. There are two concerns that should be reviewed before attempting MAF sensor repair or replacement. See the latest version of PIP4201 and PIP4307 before attempting MAF sensor replacement. If snow ingestion is verified review bulletin 07-06-04-033 before contacting PQC for a replacement MAF sensor.
If diagnosis has led to replacement of the MAF sensor please contact the PQC (866-654-7654). PQC will discuss the information/diagnostics that led to the replacement of the MAF sensor. Please complete the questionnaire below before calling the PQC.
The PQC will document the dealer's diagnostics, discuss the repair with engineering, and send the new MAF sensor to dealers as needed.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
