For 1990-2009 cars only
- Using a 13 mm socket, install the 2 oil baffle screws .
- The anchor support assembly shows, 3 springs, 3 bushings, 2 pistons, and 1 support.
- Assemble the 3 springs and 3 bushings.
- Using pliers, install the 2 anchor pistons.
- Using a wire, block the anchor bushings in order to ease in the assembly of the shift levers.
- Using a 10 mm socket, install the anchor support assembly screws.
- Using a driving tool, install a new oil seal if it was removed.
- Using a 13 mm socket, temporarily install 7 bearing retaining bolts in the clutch housing.
- Install the gear train spacer.
- In the gear train housing, temporarily install new shims until the axial play is correct.
- Using a hammer, install the drive shaft bearing race.
- In the drive shaft housing, temporarily install new shims until the axial play is correct.
- Install the roller cage inside the drive shaft.

Tighten
Tighten the support assembly screws to 18-37 N·m (18-27 lb ft).
