Removal Procedure

    Caution: To prevent personal injury, gloves should be worn when removing broken glass.

  1. Lower the window about one half of the way down.

    2. In this position, the window regulator rollers should be accessible through the openings in the door panel.

  2. Remove the window run channels. Refer to Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
  3. Remove the window weather-strip. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  4. Remove the door outer weather-strip. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  5. Perform the following steps in order to remove the window (1) from the regulator:
    6. 5.1. Move the window (1) forward in order to release the sash channel from the rear regulator roller.
    5.2. Carefully tilt the window forward to a vertical position.
    5.3. Pull the window upward in order to release the sash channel from the front regulator roller.

  6. Remove the window (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the window (1) to the door.
  2. Perform the following steps in order to install the window (1) to the regulator:
    3. 2.1. Carefully rotate the glass vertically.
    2.2. Slide the sash channel downward into the front regulator roller.
    2.3. Move the window (1) forward.
    2.4. Align the rear of the sash channel with the rear regulator roller.
    2.5. Slide the sash channel into the rear regulator roller.
  3. Install the door outer weather-strip. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  4. Install the window weather-strip. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  5. Install the door window run channels. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
