Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 299641  Size: SH
  1. Remove the automatic level control air compressor from the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the automatic level control air compressor electrical connectors from the bracket.
  3. Remove the bolts retaining the automatic level control air compressor to the bracket.
  4. Remove the bracket from the automatic level control air compressor.

  5. Object Number: 314088  Size: SH
  6. Remove the automatic level control air compressor relay from the automatic level control air compressor bracket. Refer to Air Compressor Relay Replacement .

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 314088  Size: SH
  1. Install the bracket to the automatic level control air compressor.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts retaining the automatic level control air compressor to the bracket.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the automatic level control air compressor bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the automatic level control air compressor relay to the automatic level control air compressor bracket. Refer to Air Compressor Relay Replacement .

  6. Object Number: 299641  Size: SH
  7. Reconnect the automatic level control air compressor electrical connectors to the bracket.
  8. Install the automatic level control air compressor to the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
