Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank 2-Door Utility and Pickup

1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .



2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) vapor pipe from the fuel sender assembly.
3. Cap the fuel sender and EVAP vapor pipe in order to prevent contamination.

1. Remove the caps from the fuel sender assembly and EVAP vapor pipe.



2. Connect the EVAP vapor pipe to the fuel sender assembly.
3. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .

Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank 4-Door Utility Upper

1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .



2. Disconnect the rear EVAP pipe from the chassis EVAP pipe (1).



3. Disconnect the rear EVAP pipe (2) from the EVAP canister (4).
4. Remove the EVAP vent and vapor pipes retaining strap at the chassis, noting the position for installation.



5. Remove the rear EVAP pipe from the chassis clips (1).

1. Install the rear EVAP pipe to the chassis clips (1).



2. Install a new EVAP vent and vapor pipes retaining strap at the chassis, as noted during removal.
3. Connect the rear EVAP pipe (2) to the EVAP canister (4).



4. Connect the rear EVAP pipe to the chassis EVAP pipe (1).
5. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
