The wiper motor receives battery voltage at terminals B and C through the rear window wiper switch signal/rear window wiper motor control circuit and battery positive voltage circuit during high and low speed operation. The battery positive voltage circuit is hot at all times. Battery voltage in the rear window wiper switch signal/rear window wiper motor control circuit passes through the wiper cutout switch before reaching the wiper motor. The switch must be closed for wiper operation.

The wiper motor is grounded at terminal A through the rear wiper motor ground circuit.

The wiper motor receives battery voltage at terminal D through the rear window washer pump control circuit when the wiper switch is pushed to WASH. The washer pump also receives battery voltage through the rear window washer pump control circuit at terminal A of the washer pump connector. The washer pump operates only as long as the wiper switch is held in the WASH.
