    Important: When the rocker arms are installed, lubricate the pivot bearings valve tips, and push rod sockets of the rocker arms with engine assembly prelube GM P/N 1052367.

  1. Lubricate the rocker arms pivot bearings valve tips and push rod sockets with GM P/N 1052367, or equivalent.
  2. Install the pushrods. Ensure that the pushrods seat in the lifters.

  3. Object Number: 182901  Size: SH
  4. Install the rocker arms.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Do not over tighten the rocker arm bolts.

  6. Ensure that the locating tab on the rocker pivot is properly aligned with the notch in the cylinder head.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the rocker arm bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).
