Some of the above vehicles may experience a situation where the tonneau cover is hard to latch into place when unrolled in cold weather.
Dealers need to know that there is an adjustment for this condition instead of replacement of the part. There is an adjustment procedure for the ZRX/ZR5 tonneau covers that is covered in the Service Manual. Refer to the Pickup Box Tonneau Cover Replacement procedure in the Body Rear End sub-section (Document ID #906951).
Adjustment of the tonneau cover should be made as soon as the vehicle is brought in out of the cold weather. The tonneau cover may require a re-adjustment in hot weather if the fit, appearance and clearance becomes too slack.
