Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 303362 Size: SH
  1. Release the park brake, if applied.
  2. Remove the left trim panel-knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    4. Object Number: 795856 Size: SH
  4. Loosen the park brake cable at the equalizer.

    5. Object Number: 795848 Size: SH
  5. Remove the front park brake cable from the connector.

    6. Object Number: 116 Size: SH
  6. Remove the retainer and the grommet.

    7. Object Number: 114 Size: SH
  7. Remove the front brake cable from the park brake pedal.
  8. Remove the front park brake cable.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 795848 Size: SH
  1. Install the front park brake cable in the connector.

    2. Object Number: 116 Size: SH
  2. Install the park brake cable in the retainer and grommet.
  3. Install the park brake cable on the park brake pedal.

    4. Object Number: 303362 Size: SH
  4. Install the left trim-panel knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  5. Adjust the park brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
  6. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
