Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1330 Size: SH

    Important: The oil fill plug on the NV1500 is located on the oppsite side of the transmission to where the oil fill plug is located on the NV3500.

  1. Remove the oil fill plug.

    2. Object Number: 1329 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil drain plug. Catch the oil in a suitable container.
  3. Drain the transmission oil.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1329 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil drain plug.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil drain plug on the NV1500 to 37 N·m (27 lb ft).

    Tighten
    Tighten the oil drain plug on the NV3500 to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

    Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications


    Object Number: 2327 Size: SH
  2. Install new transmission oil. Refer to Lubrication Specifications
  3. Fill the transmission to the level of the oil fill plug hole.

    4. Object Number: 1330 Size: SH
  4. Install the oil fill plug.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the oil fill plug on the NV1500 to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

    Tighten
    Tighten the oil fill plug on the NV3500 to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
