Use the scan tool in order to read the current body control module (BCM) diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Is DTC B2575, B2577, or B2600 set as a current code?

Go to Step 3

1. Disconnect the LH headlamp connector.
2. Turn the headlamp switch to the HDLP position.
3. Place the multifunction switch to the HIGH BEAM position.
4. Connect a test lamp from LH headlamp terminal A to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 7

Connect a test lamp from LH headlamp terminal A to terminal B.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair an open in CKT 524 (PPL) between the following components:

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Replace the headlamp high beam bulb.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Connect a test lamp from DRL relay pin 3 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Replace the DRL relay.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Test CKT 711 for an open.

Is an open present?

--

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 11

Locate and repair the open in CKT 711 (DK GRN/WHT) between the following components:

Is the repair complete?

Replace the UBEC.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

Did you perform the Headlight System Check?

Go to Headlight System Check

1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
2. Place the multifunction switch to the HIGH BEAM position.
3. Connect a test lamp between the following components:

•

Ground

•	Each test point on the back of the LT HI fuse in the underhood accessory bussed electrical center.

Does the test lamp light in both of the points?

Go to Step 6

Does the test lamp light at any point?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair a short to ground in CKT 711 (DK GRN/BLK).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Replace the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC).

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

--

1. Disconnect the left high beam bulb.
2. Inspect the bulb.

Is the left high beam bulb open?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Replace the left high beam bulb.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Connect a test lamp between the following components:

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 9

Locate and repair an open in CKT 711 (DK GRN/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

Is the repair complete?
