The pulse-type wiper/washer system has the features of a conventional wiper system (mist, low speed, high speed). The pulse-type system has an additional operating mode. In this mode, the wipers make single sweeps with a delay between sweeps. A solid-state timer, located in the wiper motor cover assembly, actuates the wipers. The delay resistor in the wiper/washer switch assembly determines the length of the delay.

If you turn OFF the wiper switch, the wiper motor returns the wipers to the park position.
