- Disconnect the connector at the lock cylinder switch.
- Connect a J 39200
Digital
Multimeter (DMM) from ground to the CKT 840 (ORN) cavity D of
the lock cylinder switch.
Is voltage present?

| Repair the open in CKT 840 (ORN).

- Close the lift window if open.
- Ensure that the left front door is unlocked.
- Momentarily connect a fused jumper wire between the wires in the
lock cylinder switch connector cavity D and cavity C.

| Replace the lock cylinder switch.

- Disconnect connector C3 at the left front door lock cylinder
switch.
- Connect a DMM from ground to CKT 1221 (BLK/WHT) in cavity A
of the door switch connector C3.
- Activate the lock cylinder switch.

- Repair the open circuit in CKT 1221 (WHT/BLK) between the
LH lock cylinder switch and the front door lock actuator.
- Connect the door lock actuator motor connector.
- Return the door access panel to normal.

- Close the lift window.
- At the left front door lock actuator connector C3, connect
a fused jumper wire from CKT 1221 (WHT/BLK) cavity A to CKT 56
(BLK/WHT) at cavity B.
- Activate the lock cylinder switch.
