Inspect for a sticking CV joint assembly (outer CV joint).

Is the outer CV joint assembly sticking?

Lubricate or replace the outer CV assembly as needed. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Outer Joint and Boot Replacement .

Inspect for a sticking spider assembly (Inner CV joint).

Is the inner CV joint spider assembly sticking?

Lubricate or replace the inner CV joint as needed. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Inner Joint and Boot Replacement .

  1. Inspect for worn or damaged CV joints.
  2. Replace worn inner or outer damaged CV joints/boots as needed. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Inner Joint and Boot Replacement or Wheel Drive Shaft Outer Joint and Boot Replacement .
