The rear window wiper/washer system on utility vehicles uses a positive-park, permanent-magnet wiper motor mounted on the tailgate. A wet-arm wiper assembly attaches directly to the wiper motor. Operation is controlled by the rear wiper/washer switch.
The wiper motor is serviced as a unit. No overhaul kits are available. The controller is part of the wiper motor and cannot be serviced separately.
The washer hose routes from the solvent container, along the cowl, and passes through a grommet near the center of the cowl. The hose follows the rear lamp harness routing along the center of the vehicle's floor. After the second seat, it continues along the left side of the cargo area, over the left rear wheel area, then up the left rear corner of the vehicle. The washer hose pases through a second grommet on the rear window, then attaches to the wiper arm.
