Inspect the PARK LPS fuse 5 for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 2409 (BRN). Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the PARK LPS fuse 5.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  2. Test CKT 2409 (BRN) for voltage.

Is voltage present in CKT 2409 (BRN)?

9-16 V

Go to Step 7

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 2409 (BRN). Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

If ok, replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement

Replace the rear seat audio module. Refer to Rear Seat Audio Control Replacement .
