The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
When SPS programming a radio, you may be required to pick the radio part number from a drop down box in TIS2000. You may notice that the part number for your radio is not listed in this list.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Some radios will have the incorrect part number listed inside the radio when viewing the data from the Tech 2. To resolve the concern, remove and record the part number that is listed on the label of the radio, and select the part number from the drop
down box.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
