Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the CPS target wheel.
Tighten
Tighten the CPS target wheel tightening bolts to 12 N·m (8.9 lb ft).
- Install the oil nozzle tube.
Tighten
Tighten the oil nozzle tube retaining bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).
Important: Check the crankshaft and main bearing for damages, scratches and foreign materials.
- Lubricate the main bearings and crankshaft with new engine oil.
- Install the main bearings on the original position.
- Install the crankshaft.
- Remove the lower crankcase. Refer to
Lower Crankcase Replacement.
- Install the crankshaft rear sealing with NEW one using by crankshaft rear oil seal installer
EN-48252 .
- Install the connecting rod caps. Refer to
Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing Installation.
- Assemble the engine block. Refer to
Engine Block Disassemble.
