  2. Check the parking assist warning indicator bulb.

Check the parking assist warning fuse F13 in the I/P fuse block.

Is the fuse F13 blown?

Go to Step 4

  1. Check for a short circuit and repair if necessary.
  2. Replace the fuse F13.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Turn the ignition ON.
  2. Check the voltage at fuse F13.

Is the voltage is within the specified value?

9-16 V

Go to Step 7

Repair the open power supply circuit for fuse F13.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Check for an open or short to ground of circuit between fuse F13 and the cluster.

Did you find and correct the condition?

System OK

Go to Step 8

  1. Disconnect the connector of parking assist control module.
  2. Check for an open or short to ground of circuit between the terminal 12 of cluster and the terminal 15 of parking assist control module.

Did you find and correct the condition?

System OK

Go to Step 9

Check for an open between the ground circuit and the control module.

Did you find and correct the condition?

System OK

  1. Replace the parking assist control module.
  2. Perform the BCM reprogramming procedure.
