Removal Procedure (Left-Hand Drive Shown, Right-Hand Drive Similar)

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1785914 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .
  3. Turn the sensor (1) to release it from the air conditioning module.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the coolant temperature sensor (1) into the air conditioning module and turn the sensor to lock it.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
