Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

    2. Object Number: 1814134 Size: SH
  2. Remove the knee bolster . Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the connector of the alarm switch assembly.
  4. Remove the screw and the rear object alarm switch assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1814134 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear object alarm switch with the screw.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear object alarm switch screw to 4 N·m (36 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the knee bolster . Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
