- Install the upper control arm to the knuckle.
Important: Do not tighten the nut or the bolt yet.
- Loosely install the upper control arm to knuckle nut and bolt.
Important: Do not tighten the bolt or the nut yet.
- Install the upper control arm to support frame bolt and cam nut.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Tighten the upper control arm to knuckle nut and bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the nut and bolt to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).
- If applicable, install the ABS harness to the upper control arm.
- Push the trailing arm upward in order to align the front bracket to body bolt.
- Use a drift in order to aid in bracket alignment.
- Install the bracket to body bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the trailing arm bracket to body bolts to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Refer to
Wheel Alignment Measurement.
- Tighten the upper control arm to support frame bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the upper control arm to support frame bolt to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).
