Removal Procedure

    Note: Left-Hand Drive Shown, Right-Hand Drive Similar.


    Object Number: 1794991 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hood prime latch release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement.
  2. Remove the screw and the instrument panel lower left trim.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1794991 Size: SH
  1. Install the instrument panel lower left trim and tighten the instrument panel steering column opening pillar screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
  2. Install the hood prime latch release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement.
