1. Remove the front mud guards.
2. Remove the clips and the rocker panel molding.

1. Install the rocker panel molding with the clips.
2. Install the front mud guards.

Rocker Panel Molding Replacement Captiva

1. Remove the front splash guard. Refer to Splash Guard Replacement - Front.
2. Open the doors the side the rocker panel molding is replaced.
3. Release the lower retainers (1).
4. Release the upper retainers (2).
5. Release the fender retainers (3).
6. Remove the lower rocker panel (4).

1. Secure the retainers to the back side of the new rocker molding.
2. Position the lower rocker panel (4) to the body.
3. Press to secure the fender retainers (3).
4. Press to secure the upper retainers (2).
5. Press to secure the lower retainers (1).
6. Close the doors after the molding is installed and secure.
7. Install the front splash guard. Refer to Splash Guard Replacement - Front.
