Some customers may comment on low engine power/performance or an MIL/SES light on. Any of the following conditions may also be noted:

• | DTC P0101- Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Performance |
• | DTC P0236-Boost Pressure Sensor Signal is below predicted range |
• | Exhaust Brake always on |
• | Excessive exhaust smoke |
• | Exhaust hissing noise |
• | Exhaust Brake inoperative |
The engine exhaust brake valve shaft may corrode, causing the valve to stick open or close.
Install an updated engine exhaust brake valve. Refer to Engine Brake Replacement in SI.
