Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 200667  Size: SH
  1. Drain all of the air from the air supply system.
  2. Mark both of the air lines to the leveling valve.
  3. Remove the valve locknut (2) that fastens the control valve link (5) to the control valve (1).

  4. Object Number: 200699  Size: SH
  5. Remove the following components:
  6. • The leveling valve locknuts (1)
    • The washers
    • The bolts (3)
  7. Remove the height leveling valve (2).
  8. Remove the brass air fittings from the height leveling valve.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 200699  Size: SH
  1. Install the brass air fitting on the leveling valve.
  2. Connect the leveling valve in position on the frame.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the following components:
  5. • The leveling valve locknuts (1)
    • The washers
    • The bolts (3)

    Tighten
    Tighten the leveling valve mounting locknuts to 95 N·m (70 lb ft) for models without RPO-GPG.

  6. Connect the leveling valve air lines to the correct ports on the leveling valve.

  7. Object Number: 200667  Size: SH
  8. Connect the control valve link (5) on the control valve (1).
  9. Install the locknut that connects the control valve link to the control valve.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the locknut to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  11. Apply air pressure. Inspect the valve for leaks.
