Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.

    3. Object Number: 1335531 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the glow plug controller electrical connectors.

    4. Object Number: 1336490 Size: SH
  4. Remove the glow plug controller bolts.
  5. Remove the glow plug controller.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1336490 Size: SH
  1. Install the glow plug controller.
  2. Install the glow plug controller bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the glow plug controller electrical connectors.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
